With the plethora of data formats that exist in the real world, modern computer program vendors often develop software that can import and export multi-format data. However, they cannot anticipate all the possible types of input information that may come their way or the special need for a particular format of data output due to the vast number of existing format. It is also not economically and technically viable to try to accommodate every possible format. Conversion when it is needed appears a more feasible option.
