As the largest data processing
company in China, Datum has a headquarter in Shenzhen, Guangdong and two data centers
(Shenzhen and Beijing) and 6 subsidiaries with over 700 FTEs and more
than 30 professional engineers.
Office space area: 6000 square

Equipments: More than 700 computers,
10 high-performance severs, 3 professional Clusters, 5 large-format drum scanners,
150 professional scanners and 8 PS7000 scanners.

4, Do you have any measures to control the security and reliability?
|
In order to give our customers a safe and satisfied impression, Datum has invested
heavily in optimizing the internet route. Therefore, with speedy and reliable internet
connectivity, we have the special priority of using the internet connection, which
will help us to complete the task in time, reduce the cost of our customers in transmitting
the data and promote the security of those data. Meanwhile, that Datum has equipment
and people backup helps Datum go through varieties of unexpected incidents and overcome
them predictably. Datum applies the most rigorous security practices and procedures
in the industry to ensure secured for client information and for business continuity.
Datum also invests large in risk analysis and the staff
training to ensure that its whole team is always updated and aware of its security
policies. Disaster recovery process and regular back up are all enforced at all
of our process centers. All employees are trained on security protocols and procedures
and periodic security rehearsal are carried out to guarantee our security strategy.
All the data are encrypted and transmitted.
1. Processing is completed in
the way of production line. Each operator can only access partial data instead of
final data. Final data are collected and controlled separately.
2. No external storage equipment
is allowed to be installed in operator’s computer. Only a few authorized staff can
access data. There is integral record
for all data operation

5, what’s the production procedure of your company?

6, what’s the programming language or platform you use in writing data entry programs?

For the programming languages, we adopt Visual C++, C#
+ ASP.net, ASP, VBA, Java, FoxPro and so on. |

7, how about your QC procedure?
|
About the quality control,
we have detailed quality control policies and special QC Dept. to take charge of
the quality assessment; we do random check according to the GB2828-87 or MIL-STD-105E
standard.
When doing a data entry project,
to ensure the high quality of the project, we do double blind entry and fully manual
check, before auditing by the client, we will do a random check to make sure that
the error rate is no more than 1/10,000.

8, can you describe your price structure in principle?
|
You can take advantage of the
lower labor costs available in our offshore facilities. We have access to an extremely
large, yet relatively inexpensive, pool of highly skilled and educated personnel.
This allows Datum to deliver unmatched quality at extremely competitive prices.
As to the price of each project,
normally it is priced by 1000 stroke, of course, basing on different conditions
of each project, they can also priced by record, page and so on.
Datum provide the lowest price
in this industry, we could like to consult with our client on the price separately,
basing on the quality of the original material, the quantity of project, turn-over
period, the required accuracy and other factors.

9, what’s your personal and training policy?
| Personnel are always one of the key factors that need
to be considered. Datum is run by a group of highly experienced professionals. Our
management team is consists of 3 computer science Ph. D and 10 computer science
M.S. with a combined experience of 280 years in the domain of electrical data and
document conversion.
A. Assignment of Staff: DATUM
shall provide the necessary personnel, facilities, equipment and supplies required
to perform the services required in the SOW. In fulfilling its obligations hereunder,
DATUM shall assign only person with the appropriate training and qualifications
to perform the services. All such services shall be performed with care, skill and
diligence, and DATUM shall use all reasonable endeavors consistent with its expertise
to successfully complete such services. Qualification required for staff assigned
to this project are listed as follows:

Data Entry personnel will posses a minimum education level
of: a. High School Graduate
2.
Data Entry personnel shall be required to read and write
English at a proficiency level of: a.
National English Proficiency Test Rating Level 4
or better
b. Read/write English proficiently
3.
Key position will possess a minimum education level of:

College graduate
4.
Key position shall be required to read, write and speak
English at a proficiency level at:
a.
National English Proficiency Test Rating Level 6 or better
b.
Read/write/speak English proficiently
B.
Training of Staff: DATUM shall ensure that all Datum employees
providing the service
Receive appropriate training,
including process and workflow training, protocol/functional training, and training
related to performance metrics. Generally there is a two weeks training when staff
enters the company; there are one day in every month afterwards. Two weeks of training
will be conducted after hiring. The training will be mainly focus on quality standard,
teamwork, and operation skills. The SOP (Standard of Procedure) and necessary new
procedure will be issued and related train will be taken immediately.
C.
Records: Datum shall maintain training records for Datum
employees providing services. These records will be provided to our client if required.
