In early 2007, a strong Earthquake occurred in the South Pacific. Most of the undersea cables have been cut off. Many parts of China lost Internet connection with locations outside of China. Datum, however, was not affected thanks to its priority connection lines and backups through redundancy. Datum maintained services with a then top US pharmaceutical company among one of our long term customers. Our carefully devised emergency procedures and policies executed professionally throughout of the crisis won admiring appraisals from our international customers.
